Optus Glean UK is a newly incorporated company. We believe in stating our accreditation position plainly: below is what we work to as standards on every contract, and which formal accreditations are held versus in progress. We will never claim a certification we do not hold.
Standards we work to on every contract
- COSHH 2002 — hazardous-substance assessments and control measures for all cleaning chemicals
- BICSc colour-coding — the four-colour system (red, blue, green, yellow) to prevent cross-contamination
- NHS National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025 — FR1–FR6 risk categories and the five-star audit rating on healthcare contracts
- CQC Regulations 12 & 15 — infection control and clean, suitable premises for care settings
- Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 — written H&S policy, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS)
- TUPE 2006 — correct handling of staff transfers when a contract changes hands
