How does public sector cleaning get tendered?
Public bodies buy cleaning through published routes with statutory thresholds. The main ones are:

Do you meet public sector procurement requirements?
Public tenders test more than price. Buyers commonly require the real Living Wage (£13.45 UK / £14.80 London), prequalification via SafeContractor, CHAS or Constructionline, ISO management systems, social value and robust vetting. We price to the real Living Wage where a contract requires it, and hold or are progressing the accreditations buyers expect — we list only accreditations actually held or clearly marked as in progress.
Can you handle TUPE when we re-tender a cleaning contract?
Yes. Re-tendering a cleaning contract is normally a service provision change under TUPE 2006 — Acas's own worked example is a change of office-cleaning contractor — so the incumbent's staff transfer to us on their existing terms. We manage Employee Liability Information (due at least 28 days before transfer), consultation and mobilisation through our contract mobilisation and TUPE service, so the handover is compliant and disruption-free.

Who does the cleaning and how is it priced?
Every operative is directly employed by us on PAYE — never a self-employed sub-contractor — and vetted before their first shift: DBS-checked in England and Wales, Disclosure Scotland (PVG where the role requires it) in Scotland, and AccessNI in Northern Ireland. Cleaners in schools and care settings hold Enhanced DBS checks with the relevant Barred List.
