Daily office cleaning is a cleaning visit every working day, so the workplace stays consistently presentable and hygienic. Optus Glean UK provides it nationwide on a fixed monthly fee with a named cleaner and a named relief — DBS-checked and PAYE-employed — so the daily clean happens whether or not your usual cleaner is in.
What a daily office clean includes
A daily clean keeps on top of the areas that get used hardest every day: desks and shared touchpoints wiped, floors vacuumed and mopped, kitchens and breakout areas cleared, washrooms cleaned and restocked, and waste and recycling emptied. Because it runs every working day, nothing is left to build up between visits. It is the highest-frequency tier of our office cleaning service and is usually delivered before or after hours.
When daily cleaning is the right frequency
Daily cleaning earns its place where footfall and headcount are high — busy open-plan floors, staffed kitchens, client-facing reception areas, and shared washrooms that need attention every day. Quieter offices may do well on two or three visits a week. We help you set the right pattern in the specification; our frequency guide and office cleaning checklist show how to decide.
Before hours, after hours, or during the day
Most daily cleaning is delivered early morning or evening so it stays out of your team's way. Where a building needs cleaning kept up through the day as well, we combine the daily clean with a day porter, or move it to night cleaning for larger sites. The timing is agreed around your access and occupancy.
A named cleaner and named relief
The weakness of daily cleaning elsewhere is cover: when the regular cleaner is off, the visit is missed. Every Optus Glean UK site has a named primary cleaner and a named relief, both PAYE-employed on guaranteed hours and background-checked (DBS, or Disclosure Scotland / AccessNI), so the daily clean is built to keep happening.
Fixed monthly pricing, nationwide
Daily cleaning is quoted as a fixed monthly fee against the agreed scope and collected by Direct Debit, so the cost is known for the year. For businesses with offices in several towns, one contract and one standard cover them all — see commercial cleaning and our office cleaning cost guide.
