Ultrasonic blind cleaning is an off-site process that submerges venetian or vertical blinds in a water-based cleaning tank and uses high-frequency sound waves to lift dirt, grease and staining from every slat and cord — a deeper clean than wiping or dusting in place, without the streaking or bent slats hand-cleaning risks. We collect, clean and return blinds across the UK, fully insured.
How ultrasonic cleaning works
Blinds are fully submerged in a tank of water and a cleaning solution. High-frequency sound waves passed through the liquid create microscopic cavitation bubbles that implode against every surface of the slat, cord and tape, lifting ingrained dirt and grease from areas a cloth cannot reach — between and behind slats, and inside cord channels.
Why off-site beats cleaning blinds in place
Dusting or wiping blinds in situ only reaches the exposed face of each slat, and manual pressure can bend or mark delicate slats. An ultrasonic tank cleans every surface evenly without contact pressure, and blinds are dried and re-hung without streaking.
What we clean
Aluminium and PVC venetian blinds, vertical blind slats, and other rigid or semi-rigid window furniture suited to submersion — fabric-backed or non-submersible blinds are assessed and excluded before cleaning begins. Our collection-and-return service keeps premises without blinds for as little time as possible.
Who this suits
Offices, healthcare and care settings where a higher standard of blind cleanliness may be specified, schools, and hotels or hospitality sites. As a nationwide contractor we can run a collection-and-return programme across a multi-site estate under one arrangement, built into a wider cleaning specification as a periodic deep clean alongside routine dusting.
