Do your cleaners have Enhanced DBS checks for schools?
Yes. Cleaning operatives who work in schools and other settings involving regular contact with children are put through an Enhanced DBS check (£49.50) with a Children's Barred List check, which is the level required for regulated activity with children (gov.uk). In Scotland this is delivered through the Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme and in Northern Ireland through AccessNI. Every operative is directly employed by us on PAYE — never a self-employed sub-contractor — and vetted before their first shift: DBS-checked in England and Wales, Disclosure Scotland (PVG where the role requires it) in Scotland, and AccessNI in Northern Ireland. We hold vetting records centrally so your safeguarding lead can confirm compliance at any time.
How do you clean around term time and school holidays?

We quote a fixed monthly fee by Direct Debit after a free site survey — not an hourly rate that tempts a supplier to under-resource. Our operatives are paid at or above the statutory National Living Wage of £12.71 (April 2026), and we can price to the voluntary real Living Wage (£13.45 UK / £14.80 London) where your ethical-procurement policy requires it (Living Wage Foundation).
