OptusGlean UK provides contract office cleaning for corporate occupiers across the UK — from a single headquarters to a national office portfolio. We use directly employed, vetted operatives, fixed monthly pricing and day or night scheduling, all under one national contract and one account manager so every office you occupy is cleaned to the same measured standard.
What does a corporate office cleaning contract include?
A typical daily office contract covers desks and touch points, kitchens and breakout areas, washrooms, meeting rooms, reception, floors and waste — with periodic tasks scheduled on top:
| Frequency | Tasks |
|---|---|
| Daily | Touch-point disinfection, washrooms, kitchens, waste, vacuuming, reception |
| Weekly / periodic | Detailed dusting, glass, hard-floor maintenance, high-level cleaning |
| Quarterly / annual | Carpet extraction, deep kitchen clean, window cleaning, washroom descaling |
We also cover washroom consumables and hygiene services, and can add daytime housekeeping/porterage for client-facing floors.
Should we clean during the day or overnight?
Both models work; the right one depends on your building. Out-of-hours cleaning (early morning or evening) keeps cleaners out of the way of staff and is the norm for larger floors. Daytime cleaning is increasingly popular for sustainability and visible hygiene — a discreet day porter keeps washrooms, kitchens and touch points fresh through the working day. Because our operatives are employed by us, we can staff either pattern reliably rather than depending on a churn of sub-contractors.
Can one supplier clean all our UK offices?
Yes — this is our core proposition. OptusGlean UK is the national alternative to small city-based cleaning firms: one national contract cleaning agreement, one cleanliness standard and one account manager across every site you run — instead of juggling a different local cleaner in every town. See our approach to multi-site cleaning and why buyers choose OptusGlean. Corporate occupiers with offices in several cities too often run a different local cleaner per site, with no consistent standard, no single point of accountability and no national reporting. We consolidate the lot onto one specification, one audit method and one fixed monthly invoice.
Who are the cleaners, and how is the contract priced?
Every operative is directly employed by us on PAYE — never a self-employed sub-contractor — and vetted before their first shift: DBS-checked in England and Wales, Disclosure Scotland (PVG where the role requires it) in Scotland, and AccessNI in Northern Ireland. They are paid at or above the National Living Wage of £12.71 (April 2026), with the real Living Wage available on request. We price a fixed monthly fee by Direct Debit following a free site survey — no hourly billing, no surprise extras — and commercial cleaning is standard-rated at 20% VAT.
